Monday Mourning (pages 189-254)

Claudia's facial reconstruction proved Tempy's theory that they were all the same age; however, she was unable to identify the girls. Still unable to determine cause of death, the 'squints'/scientists are still holding many experiments and digging deep. I figure I can either talk about the little progress made in the case at this point, or I can talk about some surprising personal life things going on in the book right now.

Claudia is asked out by Dr. Lancaster!!!! She initially turns him down, not wanting to interfere with work relations, but she then talks to Tempy and another female worker and changes her answer. SHe figures that when they go no the date and it stinks, her and Lancaster can go through a couple days of awekward tension and then things would go back to normal after that.

However, much to my approval, the date went great. Looks like this is how they got the idea for an Angela/Hodgins relationship on Bones. Dr. Lancaster takers her to a swing set (earlier in the book, Claudia says that childhood is all about swings). She loved the creative and outlandish idea and they go have fun. And of course, there was an insanely romantic and juicy kiss to add to the adorableness that was their first date. :)

Response: Do I even have to say anyhting? I think we all know that I was hopping out of my seat reading this.....date=favorite part of the book so far.
