Monday Mourning, Kathy Reichs

After finishing A Time To Kill, I quickly ran to the library, returned the book, shocked that I finished it only a week after picking it up, and grabbed a novel by Kathy Reichs. Now I'm sure, you are all wondering who the heck Kathy Reichs is, there are so many authors out there, and it makes sense that you haven't heard of her. But if you are anything like me, or you ar least share one interest with me, which is Bones, you know who she is. She is a forensic anthropologist/author, and insipree of the amazing show that has taken over my life. She writes kinda about her career I guess you could say, with the main idea from her books being solving cases with the help of a forensic anthropologist. Her books (I think 16 in all {and counting}) are what inspired Bones, and when I realized that the library had them, I obviously had to read my previous book really fast.

Personal Response: I know you all know by now that I freaking love Bones, and if you haven't figured it out yet, there is probably something wrong with you. I love everything about it: the way that they use an anthropologist to solve cases, the fact that it's the only show that solves cases from skeletons, the way that Brennan's inablilty to think of anything outside of the literal sense creates hysterical humor, and like any average teenage girl, I love the drama, hook-ups, and other romantic inclinations that make the show what it is. The books, thank god, are the exact same way. The only real difference between the show and books is the addition of characters Dr. Saryon, Dr. Sweets, and Caroline Julian. Which if you haven't figured it out yet, still leaves the four charachters that create the romantic aspect of the show.

All names were changed except Dr. Temperance Brennan. I find it a little odd that in the book, everyone calls her Tempy instead of Bones like they do on the show. Evenso the books all seem amazing and I'ms ure they are because Kathy Reichs has many awards. I honestly didn't care which book I picked up because they are all pretty much the same. So I just picked up the first one that I saw, which was Monday Mourning, the sixth book in the series.
