THey all are woken up by MR. Weasley in the middle of the night and they immediatly hear a riot. THey run to the forest as told by MR. Weasley, but catch a glimpse of some wizards doing tricks on muggles. Ron, Harry, and Hermione lose the others, so curl up behind a tree. THey hear something coming at them so they all grab their wands, but Harry's is missing. THey begin to run away but see someone shout something a the "Dark Mark", Voldemort's sign, pops in the sky.
Ludo Bagman, COrnelius Fudge, and Mr. Crouch all come running. Crouch is immediatly embarrassed because people catch Winky, his souse elf, holding the wand exactly where the three of them said they saw the perosn. He fires her, but the three of them and Mr. Weasley all say it wasn't her. Fudge is terribly mad at everyone and on high alert because they cannot figure out why someone would cause mass hysteria by putting that in the sky. Harrry begins to fret that Voldemort is coming back because it matches the strange dreams that he has been having.
Response: Okay starting to get there, I imagine once they get in Hogwarts it will really get better, but this is a start. I just can't believe that 150 pages in they still aren't there. OH well, I"m just JK has her reasons.
